PAST TENSE (ED) PRONUNCIATION (DAWNED, OWNED)

Judy owned her first house finally. It dawned on her that she had succeeded.

Judy foi dona de sua primeira casa, finalmente.  Ela percebeu que havia conseguido.

After she had owned the house for a year, it dawned on her that she wanted the kitchen to be remodeled.

Depois de possuir a casa por um ano.  Ocorreu-lhe que queria que a cozinha fosse remodelada.

She talked to the contractor and told him her plans to remodel the house she owned. The construction began when the sun dawned Monday morning.
