SILENT LETTERS (BUILDING, BUILT, GUITAR)

Tom worked in construction, and he had built several buildings. On the side, he played guitar with a local band.

He and the guys in the band got together to brainstorm how Tom could continue both of these jobs he really loved. Eventually they faced the fact: he’d have to give up the guitar or give up building.

The last building Tom built was his own house. Now he can be found sitting in his backyard with his children, strumming his guitar, and practicing for his next gig.
