VOICED AND UNVOICED TH: Seth, slither

Seth looked out in the backyard this morning just after the sun had come up. He saw some movement and noticed that the movement was a snake as it started to slither under a rock in the yard.

Seth olhou para o quintal esta manhã logo após o sol nascer. Ele viu algum movimento e percebeu que o movimento era uma cobra que começou a deslizar/serpentear sob uma pedra no quintal.

Seth certainly wasn’t afraid of snakes at all, but it did kind of send a chill up his spine as he saw the snake slither further back under the rock and wiggle down out of sight.

Seth certamente não tinha medo de cobras, mas meio que deu um arrepio na sua espinha quando ele viu a cobra deslizar/serpentear mais para trás sob a rocha e desaparecer fora de vista.

Seth’s thoughts started to battle back-and-forth. Part of him wanted to grab the snake and take it in his house and keep it in a fish tank, but the other part was concerned that it might slither out at night and up onto his bed. Long story short, the snake remains free.

Os pensamentos de Seth começaram a debater de um lado para o outro. Parte dele queria pegar a cobra e levá-la para sua casa e mantê-la em um tanque de peixes, mas a outra parte estava preocupada que ela pudesse deslizar para fora à noite e subir em sua cama. Para encurtar a história, a cobra permanece livre.
