CHALLENGING WORDS (CHEAT, SHEET)

The students began to chat online and ended up discussing how they might be able to cheat on an upcoming test.

Os alunos começaram a conversar online e acabaram discutindo como poderiam trapacear em um próximo teste.

One especially bright student suggested they take a sheet of paper, write the answers on it to help them cheat, and send the information to one another during the chat so they could all benefit from the plan.

Um aluno especialmente inteligente sugeriu que pegassem uma folha de papel, escrevessem as respostas para ajudá-los a trapacear e enviassem as informações durante o bate-papo para que todos pudessem se beneficiar do plano.

Another student, even brighter than the first, said, “Hey! I’ll write down all you need to know to succeed in this test!” He busily wrote on the cheat sheet. The other students handed the sheet back and forth, each one groaning as he read the letters it contained. S-T-U-D-Y was all it said.

Outro aluno, ainda mais brilhante que o primeiro, disse: “Ei! Anotarei tudo o que vocês precisam saber para terem sucesso neste teste! " Ele escreveu compenetrado na folha de dicas. Os outros alunos passaram a folha de um lado para o outro, cada um resmungando enquanto lia as letras que continha. E- S-T-U-D-E era tudo o que dizia.
