SIMILAR SOUNDING WORDS: SCIENCE, SENSE, SINCE

I have loved studying science since I was a child. To many of my friends, it doesn’t make any sense at all.

Adoro estudar ciências desde criança.  Para muitos dos meus amigos, isso não faz nenhum sentido.

Since you are here, could you please help me with my science project? I’m having trouble making sense of it.

Já que você está aqui, poderia me ajudar com meu projeto de ciências?  Estou tendo problemas para entender isso.

I’ve been studying the science project since Monday, but I still have plenty to finish. I have to make sense of it and figure out how to explain it to the other students.
