SIMILAR SOUNDING WORDS (WHITER, WIDER)

After Bobbi bleached the fabric, the fabric looked a lot whiter than before. She liked how clean and crisp it looked.

Depois que Bobbi alvejou o tecido, ele parecia muito mais branco do que antes.  Ela gostou do quanto parecia limpo e fresco.

Many of the pieces of fabric had been stained over the years,so Bobbi tried her best to make them whiter. For some reason the wider pieces of fabric had been stained more than the narrower ones.

Muitos dos pedaços de tecido tinham estado manchados ao longo dos anos, então Bobbi fez o possível para deixá-los mais brancos.  Por alguma razão, os pedaços de tecido mais largos tinham estado mais manchados do que os mais estreitos.

Bobbi noticed that if she hung the fabric on the clothesline, the sun helped to bleach it and make it whiter. She made sure she had enough room on the clothesline to even hang the wider pieces.

Bobbi percebeu que, se pendurasse o tecido no varal, o sol ajudava a alvejá-lo e torná-lo mais branco.  Ela se certificou de ter espaço suficiente no varal para pendurar as peças mais largas.
