CHALLENGING WORDS (FEEL, FEW)

More than a few Brazilians find it very difficult to tell the difference in pronunciation between the words FEW and FEEL. It’s important to pronounce the L at the end of FEEL when you’re pronouncing these English words.

Muitos brasileiros acham muito difícil dizer a diferença de pronúncia entre as palavras FEEL e FEW. É importante pronunciar o L no final de FEEL quando você está pronunciando essas palavras em inglês.

There were a few times I tried to say FEEL and accidentally said FEW. I think it’s from the habit of speaking Portuguese at times.

Houve algumas vezes em que tentei dizer FEEL e, acidentalmente, disse FEW. Acho que é do hábito de falar português às vezes.

FEW: pouco
