CHALLENGING WORDS (THOUGH, TOUGH)

Though Julie was a small woman, she was pretty tough. She wasn’t nearly as tough as Mary, though.

Embora Julie fosse uma mulher pequena, ela era muito durona.  Ela não era tão durona quanto Mary, no entanto.

 

 

Mary had to be tough in her family. She had two older brothers.
