PAST TENSE (ED) PRONUNCIATION: MATCHED, WATCHED

Tim watched the little boy walk by with his puppy. He noticed that the puppy’s collar and the little boy’s shirt matched perfectly.

Tim observou o menino passar com seu cachorrinho.  Ele percebeu que a coleira do cachorro e a camisa do menino combinavam perfeitamente.

Tim thought it was really cute that what they were wearing matched so well. He smiled, and he noticed the little boy had looked up and watched him now.

Tim achou muito fofo que o que eles estavam vestindo combinasse tão bem.  Ele sorriu e percebeu que o garotinho havia erguido os olhos e o observava agora.

Tim suspected that the little boy had a love of animals that nearly matched his. He enjoyed the times he could spend on his porch, and he watched the friendship between boy and dog grow and grow.

Tim suspeitava que o menino tinha um amor por animais que quase combinava com o seu.  Ele gostava dos momentos que podia passar em sua varanda e ele observava a amizade entre menino e cachorro crescer cada vez mais.
