SILENT LETTERS (WRINKLE, WRITING)

After Matthew began writing, he noticed there was a wrinkle on the paper. The wrinkle got in the way of his writing, and he became frustrated.

Matthew’s writing was rather neat and actually quite beautiful. But the wrinkle on the paper made the writing seem a bit more messy than it was.
